A Countdown to Launch: Community Tribute Site Goes Live on New Year's Day

Alongside the three business websites delivered for its first client, Makos Digital also launched Connect2Jesus on January 1, 2022 — a personal tribute site built for the same client's community.

Unlike the business sites, Connect2Jesus needed to build anticipation ahead of launch: a public countdown timer ran from Christmas through New Year, announcing exactly when the site would go live.

The countdown gave the launch a real sense of occasion — the site didn't simply appear quietly, it arrived on a date the community had been counting down to.

Connect2Jesus remains a small, personal project, but one built with real ceremony, and part of the very first delivery Makos Digital ever made.
