K R Law Associates, a law firm with 55 years of experience, partnered with Makos Digital to modernize its web presence after moving on from a previous developer.
The project needed regional-language content to serve the firm's full client base, and the old site's inconsistent, non-compliant state — left behind with poor documentation — made a fresh start the right call. The prior service provider also offered no cooperation during the handover, ruling out a patch job entirely.
Makos Digital ran the engagement on a Waterfall methodology with detailed UI documentation at every stage, including a client 'Dipstick study' involving the firm's own clients, young attorneys, and associates to shape the new experience. New enquiry forms were also added to make it easier for prospective clients to reach the firm directly.
The engagement delivered real efficiency gains alongside the modernized site itself — a shorter planning phase, high-quality delivery, and overall cost-effectiveness for the client.
The rebuilt site reflects the firm's decades of credibility while giving clients a modern, accessible way to engage.
