Case Study

Introduction

HIRA is a women's ethnic-wear brand founded by Abirami Shree, an entrepreneur who built a real local saree business by selling through Instagram and dispatching orders locally. She enrolled in Jobaskit's Digital Marketing Course, and it was there — while the course covered web development best and worst practices — that she asked founder Ashokk Remi John directly whether Makos Digital could build her a website.

Challenges

Abirami's saree business was already working — real sales through Instagram, with local dispatch — but it had no website of its own to grow beyond what one Instagram profile and local delivery could reach. A women's ethnic-wear catalog also spans a lot of ground on its own: six saree fabric types alone (silk, cotton, chiffon, georgette, Banarasi, organza), plus lehengas, kurtis, dresses, and dupattas, each cut across occasions from daily wear to weddings and engagements.

Solutions

Ashokk Remi John personally pitched the project, and Makos Digital agreed to build it. Abirami paid on Saturday, September 5, 2026, and the site was delivered and deployed within two working days, live by September 7.

Makos Digital built HIRA's storefront on Next.js: a hero carousel, category- and occasion-based browsing, and dedicated product pages with an image gallery, color and quantity selection, a wishlist, a pincode delivery checker, and a tabbed layout for description, specifications, care instructions, shipping, and reviews. Ordering runs through a WhatsApp-based "Add to Cart" flow rather than a hosted checkout, keeping the initial build focused on the catalog and discovery experience. Organization and WebSite schema, along with Open Graph tags, were built in from the start.

Benefits

Abirami now has a real storefront at hiraforwomen.in alongside her Instagram sales — a fast, mobile-first catalog organizing her full range by fabric, occasion, and budget, with the technical SEO foundation already in place. She had it in hand within two days of paying for it.

Conclusion

HIRA is a direct example of how Jobaskit's courses feed into Makos Digital's client work: a student who enrolled to learn digital marketing left with a real, live website — pitched, agreed, paid, and delivered inside two working days.
